In 1987, Charley Kleinrichert and his wife, Anita, started what is known today as AC Beverage, Inc. AC Beverage began primarily as a maintenance and service company, and as a result of servicing an assortment of unique dispense systems over the years, learned a lot about how draft beer systems work and even more about how and why they fail. “We were motivated to come up with solutions for our clients and design/install superior systems that would last longer and pour a better tasting product.”

AC Beverage would soon begin designing, selling, and installing their own signature draft beer systems which were, and still are, composed of the highest quality components available in the industry. As business grew, it became apparent that a dedicated team would be necessary to handle the distribution side of the business. In 1999, AC Distributing was officially spun off as a full-service provider of equipment to AC Beverage and other companies in the beverage dispense and installation industry. AC Distributing would handle holding inventory, staging installations, and even manufacturing/assembly of products such as our cooler dispense panels, trunk line and Nitrogenator, just to name a few. AC Beverage would continue to handle installations and service.

As the years went on, the in-house manufactured product line, which consisted mostly of products we considered innovative, continued to grow, as did our relationship with brewers and our understanding for their needs – mostly as a result of work done installing and servicing their tasting room dispense systems. This would ultimately spawn products such as the CellarStream (popular in brewery tasting rooms to infuse any gas blend into any beer of their choice), The Rack Aeri Ale (designed to allow aged beer or wine to be served and infused with gas directly from a barrel), or even our custom Gassing Panels, which allow brewers to infuse any gas blend into their product in-line while filling kegs or transferring the beer from one vessel to another.

Today, AC Beverage continues to innovate draft and brewery products through their innovative products division and are constantly coming up with new ways to revolutionize the beverage dispense industry.
